Get To Know Us

Our chiropractor, Dr. Timothy D. Runnels, is a native Houstonian who earned his chiropractic doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College. He graduated in 2002 and opened his practice in 2005. Since then, he was certified in acupuncture by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He also served as president of the Texas Chiropractic College Alumni Organization until 2011.

Dr. Runnels was inspired to create his practice when he was working as a personal trainer. While he worked with athletes, he saw a multitude of musculoskeletal injuries. This was when he became interested in their care. His goal is to improve community musculoskeletal wellness.

His wife Teresa M Muñoz graduated from Phoenix University with a bachelor’s in management. She also returned to Columbia, where she is from and earned a degree in marketing and advertisement. Teresa has been living in Houston since 1999, which is where she married Dr. Runnels.

She later joined the chiropractic family in 2010 and became the manager and supervisor. Teresa continually attends seminars and classes to broaden her knowledge of chiropractic care. This knowledge helps her to serve her community better.
